The wines of Bodegas Cornelio Dinastía have triumphed at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA 2021) receiving 9 medals: one Gold and eight Silver. Great scores obtained in the 18th edition of what is considered the “world’s leading wine competition” held this week in London, one of the most prestigious and important in the international arena.
The Gold medal has been awarded to one of its most awarded wines: Vega Vella Graciano 2019, with no less than 95 points. The eight Platas were shared between its wines from the Cornelio range (Cornelio Emperador Tempranillo 2017 with 93 points, Cornelio Imperial Autor 2017 with 92 points, and Cornelio Dinastía Crianza 2017 and Cornelio Gran Duque 2016 with 90 points) and the organic Vega Vella wines (Vega Vella Blanco Fermentado en Barrica 2018 and Vega Vella Autor 2018 with 91 points and Vega Vella Reserva 2014 and s.TOP Reserva 2015 with 90 points).
The DWWA 2021 tasting panel has spent two weeks rigorously evaluating the more than 18,094 wines from 56 different countries received. The jury is made up of the best international tasters: 160 judges including 44 Masters of Wine and 11 Master Sommeliers.
