Vega Vella Tempranillo

Own vineyards in trellis, located in Eastern Rioja, in clay- calcareous soils, with gypsums, marls and alluvial boulders, 400 m above sea level. Outstanding sun exposure. Organic farming for over 30 years. Vineyards of small production. We obtain untuous wines.
The climate is Mediterranean with some Atlantic influence and an average rainfall of 400 l/m2.

Aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels and another 10 months in bottle. It is made by minimizing of sulfur dioxid, resulting in a natural wine, respectful with the environment.

Alcohol: 14,8% Vol.

Serving temperature: 12-14 ºC

Clean, vibrant red-cherry colour.

Great intensity of ripe black fruit, aromas of compote, leather, light toasted and spicy aromas.

Abundant presence of black fruit and spices that give way to dark chocolate and toast. Complex wine due to the contribution of each variety.

Barbecued meats, wood-roasted meats, stews, game and meaty and spicy dishes.
