Vega Vella Graciano 2021. Gold Medal. 96 points.
Decanter said: “A surprising array of raspberries, cherries and red plums with a lively interplay of aromatic herbs and violet flowers. Lively and expressive, with a dark chocolate finish”.
This wine comes from an exclusive selection of bunches of Graciano grapes, a variety native to Rioja, with lower production and older grapes. It is a wine that combines perfectly with the characteristics of the soil and climate. It is meticulously made and aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels and 10 months in the bottle.

Cornelio Emperador Tempranillo 2019. Silver Medal 93 points.
Decanter said: “Aromas of luscious plums, with chocolate-covered cherries and coffee bean nuances on the nose. Crisp acidity, big, firm palate.”
Own goblet-trained vineyards between 50 and 70 years old, at an altitude of over 500 metres with an Atlantic climate influence. They are located in Rioja Alta. The best grapes are selected from the best soil, the most balanced in texture and structure, which in its entrails sustains sexagenarian vines, the ones that produce soft, voluptuous wines, with fine aromas.
Vega Vella Autor Organic 2021. Silver medal 92 points.
Decanter said: “Herbaceous nose with liquorice notes, aromas of damson plum, strawberries, toffee, chocolate and spices. Full, dense and quite intense. Long finish”.
To make this award-winning wine, we work with our own vineyards on organic, chalky-clay soils, with low productivity, but with high quality grapes. Located in La Rioja Oriental, these vineyards are treated with natural products, 400 metres above sea level with a rainfall of 450 mm and a continental Mediterranean climate.
Author Selection 2020. Silver medal 91 points.
Decanter said: “Tasty and fruity wine with aromas of black fruit and ripe strawberry. Velvety tannins, subtle and elegant in the mouth”.
The best fermentations are selected and usually come from the best grapes. Strict selection of clusters. Blend of different Tempranillos. Aging in new American oak barrels for 24 months of first use, worked very subtly because, as in the rest of the cases, the constant work in the field already provides its pleasant tannicity. It ends up ageing in bottle for 24 months, this bottle is special to maintain and improve its properties.
