Bodegas Cornelio Dinastía triumphs at the Decanter Awards 2023 with a platinum medal, a gold and three silvers

Our organic red wine from Rioja Oriental wins Decanter: 97 points and a platinum medal for Vega Vella Reserva 2014.

And we continue to reap success! Once again, Bodegas Cornelio Dinastía triumphs at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA 2023) receiving five medals: one Platinum, one Gold and three Silver. Great scores obtained in the 20th edition of what is considered the “world’s leading wine competition”, one of the most prestigious and important in the international arena.

With 97 points and a Platinum medal, the organic wine Vega Vella Reserva 2014, from the winery’s oldest vineyards, has fascinated Decanter, obtaining one of the highest recognitions of the competition, only equalled by 19 other Spanish wines. The Gold medal has been awarded to Cornelio Selección Autor 2018, a Tempranillo that surprises for its great personality and that has obtained no less than 95 points. The three Silver medals went to: Cornelio Emperador 2018 with 94 points, Cornelio Gran Duque Reserva 2018 with 93 points and the organic Vega Vella Gran Reserva 2014 with 92 points.

In this edition, 18,250 wines from 57 countries were evaluated. The jury is made up of the best wine professionals, including 53 Masters of Wine and 16 Master Sommeliers from 30 countries.
