Bodegas Cornelio Dinastía: the only winery in Rioja with two Gran Oro Awards in Mundus Vini and the award for the best Rioja Crianza of the competition

The wines of Bodegas Cornelio Dinastía are once again triumphing on the international scene. In the summer edition of the MUNDUS VINI competition, seven of its wines were awarded medals, two of which were GRAND GOLD, making it the only DOCa Rioja winery with this distinction.

In addition, its wine Vega Vella Crianza 2017 was chosen as the “Best Rioja Crianza of the Contest”, awarded with a Gold medal.

More than 4,500 wines from 35 wine-producing countries from all over the world were tasted and evaluated at the 29th edition of the MUNDUS VINI International Wine Grand Prix held in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, located in the heart of the Pfalz region in Germany.

The distinctions obtained by Bodegas Cornelio Dinastía were: Great Gold for Vega Vella Reserva 2014 and Cornelio Selección Reserva 2014. Gold for Cornelio Selección Crianza 2017, Vega Vella s.TOP Reserva 2015, Vega Vella Garnacha 2018 and Vega Vella Crianza 2017 (the latter also voted “Best of Show Rioja Crianza”). And Silver for Vega Vella Graciano 2019.

Spain was the second most outstanding producer in the competition, whose jury is made up of more than 120 experts from 30 different regions of the world.
